Localization PM – Audio Productions (m/f/d)
GlobaLoc GmbH is seeking a Localization Project
Manager to join the company’s production team and work on our audio projects, including analyzing and preparing the project,
scheduling resources, supervising and tracking production schedules, and managing
quality and deliveries. The new team member would be
working closely with our Audio Director and Production Manager to complete all
necessary tasks commonly found in localization audio production.
- Manage localization projects from start to finish
- Lead localization teams to deliver expected results on time, with intended scope and quality, on budget.
- Prepare assets for localization/recording
- Organization of actor castings
- Interface with clients
- Overseeing audio post production flow
- Organizing & conducting project deliveries, via FTP or client-specific software
- Updating the company’s contact database and finding new audio-related freelancers
- Working on recording sessions and in audio post production as required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in German and English
- A good knowledge of general office software & email applications (i.e. MS Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Abilities to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A positive attitude towards challenges & excellent problem solving abilities
- Being able to work independently to complete assigned tasks is a must!
- An understanding of how to professionally conduct oneself in an office environment
- A basic knowledge of software applications such as Pro Tools & Soundforge is a plus

Aufnahmeleiter Games (m/f/d)
Wir suchen zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen/eine Aufnahmeleiter/in für unsere Audioproduktionen im Bereich Video-Games. In der Position bist du die Schnittstelle zwischen unserem internen und externen Audio-Team und unseren Projektmanagern sowie für die Synchronsprecher/innen. Damit wir Spiele wie Cyberpunk 2077, FIFA, Fortnite, Need for Speed uvm. aufnehmen können, brauchen wir dich, um das Team vor Ort und die Synchronsprecher/innen zu koordinieren. Dabei stehen dir Buchungstools zur Verfügung, die für dich das Salz in der Suppe sein werden. Gerne gehen wir mit dir mehr ins Detail, sobald wir dich zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch einladen. German Translation Coordinator (m/f/d)
The Translation Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the translation of video games titles, including analyzing and preparing the project, scheduling translators, supervising and tracking production schedules, managing translation quality and delivery. The Translation Coordinator interfaces with internal departments and external translation service providers, always driven by the goal to deliver translations of highest industry standards.
- Preparation and analysis of translation assets
- Coordination of internal and external translation teams
- Creation and maintenance of glossaries, translations memories, style guides and databases
- Translate and proofread texts from English into your native language
- Control of translation quality in compliance with guideline terminology
- Recruitment of external resources and maintenance of our translator database
- Perform analysis of current processes and proactively identify potential problems and implement creative solutions
- Fluency in English and native German speaker
- A completed degree in translation studies or other experience in language, literature or linguistics
- Knowledge of MemoQ and other CAT tools

The Junior Inhouse-Translator is responsible for translating, editing and proofreading translation content of video games titles or any other material which requires translation, editing or proofreading. The Junior Inhouse-Translator interfaces with internal departments always driven by the goal to deliver translations of highest industry standards.
- Translation, editing, and proofreading of localization assets from English into German
- Creation and maintenance of glossaries, translations memories, term bases, style guides, and databases
- Translation quality checks in compliance with guideline terminology as well as in-game terminology
- Translate and proofread texts from English into your native language
- Control of translation quality in compliance with guideline terminology
- Recruitment of external resources and maintenance of our translator database
- Perform analysis of current processes and proactively identify potential problems and implement creative solutions
- Fluency in English and native-level German skills
