Falls du in Berlin wohnst, ein Faible für Video Games hast und dir vorstellen kannst, neben deinem Studium in der Video Games-Branche zu arbeiten, kannst du bei uns den ersten Schritt in die richtige Richtung machen!

  • Einwandfreies Deutsch in Wort und Schrift.
  • Du sprichst fließend English.
  • Du hast eine Leidenschaft für Video Games und Gaming-Erfahrung.
  • Du verfügst über einen guten Umgang mit Microsoft Office, speziell Excel.
  • Du besitzt die Fähigkeit Deadlines einzuhalten.
  • Du hast Lust darauf, Soundfiles für Video Games zu testen und dabei 10€/Stunde zu verdienen.
  • Du bist mindestens 18 Jahre alt.
  • Du arbeitest flexibel während unserer Office Hours zwischen 09:00 – 20:00 Uhr.
  • Du arbeitest direkt in unserem Office im Stadtteil Friedrichshain.

Translation Coordinator (m/f/d) with weekend work

The Translation Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the translation of video games titles, including analyzing and preparing the project, scheduling translators, supervising and tracking production schedules, managing translation quality and delivery. The Translation Coordinator interfaces with internal departments and external translation service providers, always driven by the goal to deliver translations of highest industry standards.

We are looking for a Translation Coordinator with a 5 days week from Wednesday to Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off.

  • Preparation and analysis of translation assets
  • Coordination of internal and external translation teams
  • Creation and maintenance of glossaries, translations memories, style guides and databases
  • Translate and proofread texts from English into your native language
  • Control of translation quality in compliance with guideline terminology
  • Recruitment of external resources and maintenance of our translator database
  • Perform analysis of current processes and proactively identify potential problems and implement creative solutions
  • Fluency in English
  • A completed degree in translation studies or other experience in language, literature or linguistics
  • Knowledge of MemoQ and other CAT tools
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Strong passion for video games across multiple genres and platforms
  • Excellent communication and deadline driven
  • Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify creative solutions for complex issues
  • Self-motivated in pro-active
  • You know how to handle complex tasks without losing your cool
  • You look at the bigger picture, questioning existing methods and analysing potential risks

Junior Inhouse Translator German (m/f/d)

The Junior Inhouse-Translator is responsible for translating, editing and proofreading translation content of video games titles or any other material which requires translation, editing or proofreading. The Junior Inhouse-Translator interfaces with internal departments always driven by the goal to deliver translations of highest industry standards.

  • Translation, editing, and proofreading of localization assets from English into German
  • Creation and maintenance of glossaries, translations memories, term bases, style guides, and databases
  • Translation quality checks in compliance with guideline terminology as well as in-game terminology
  • Translate and proofread texts from English into your native language
  • Control of translation quality in compliance with guideline terminology
  • Recruitment of external resources and maintenance of our translator database
  • Perform analysis of current processes and proactively identify potential problems and implement creative solutions
  • Fluency in English and native-level German skills
  • A degree in translation studies or other experience in language, literature or linguistics
  • Knowledge of CAT tools (memoQ, Trados, etc.)
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented work ethic
  • Strong passion for video games across multiple genres and platforms
  • Excellent communication and deadline driven
